The Waldorf Way, education as an art…
Founded in Germany in 1919 by philosopher Rudolf Steiner, the Waldorf curriculum has endured as one of the richest education methods in the world. Every lesson at Madison Waldorf is guided by a dynamic relationship between teacher and student. Our curriculum integrates art and movement with a rigorous academic education in order to foster artistic expression, athletic ability, and problem solving. Whether it be in science or math, language, history, sports or art, our aim is to inspire mastery, compassion, and self-confidence. This approach ensures our students carry a lifelong love of learning throughout their lives.

Madison Waldorf School invites you to discover the difference of a Waldorf education this Saturday at our open house. We will be offering tours of the school, and faculty and staff will be on hand to answer questions about our early childhood and grades programs.

The Waldorf educational philosophy is committed to nurturing the whole human. Our curriculum integrates arts and movement with an intellectually rigorous academic education to foster artistic expression, critical thinking, problem solving, athletic judgment, and sound intellectual reasoning. Waldorf graduates are creative and ethically aware young people intellectually prepared for the most demanding colleges, and eager to engage with the world around them. Waldorf pedagogy nurtures healthy emotional development by conveying knowledge experientially as well as academically.

Come and find out how Waldorf education inspires a lifelong love of learning!
