PTCC Meeting Tonight @ 6:30

Please come to the first PTCC Meeting of the school year on Monday, September 19, 6:30-8:00 pm at the school.

PTCC is the Parent-Teacher Community Council at Madison Waldorf School composed of Parent Representatives of each classroom, parent and faculty co-chairs, sub-committee chairs and anyone and everyone who wants to get involved to support our school!

Have an idea for our school? Have a concern? PTCC is your one-stop shop for plugging into volunteering, getting your voice heard, and being connected with school leadership.

Our parents are the school’s most valuable resource, and we rely upon parent volunteers (like you) to make sure the school gets the support it needs.

So bring your ideas and enthusiasm to our first PTCC meeting! Whether you want to help out with a specific task, or lead a new initiative, PTCC is the place to be to support our school!

If you cannot attend the meeting, we still want to hear from you so please share your ideas by email before the meeting. Please contact Christa Bruhn with comments or questions at christa.bruhn@gmail.com or call 608.332.2001.

The movement room was crowded as new and returning parents and caregivers came to All School Orientation last Thursday, September 8th. Faculty members addressed the entire parent body, before opening up their classrooms for a school tour and class meetings. Walking around the beautiful new Practical Crafts Room with Grade 5/6 teacher Mark Lajiness, flipping through main lesson books, and chatting with other parents, members of our community laughed and joined together with excitement for the 2011-2012 school year at Madison Waldorf School.
