Wednesday, January 22 at 7 PM
Join us tomorrow evening when psychologist Dr. Donal MacCoon will discuss how to maximize sustainable well-being and ensure mental and physical health amidst the unpredictable changes of a complex world. MacCoon describes some of psychological principles involved in this approach to well-being, and draws on solutions ranging from a scientific and cultural project called “Open Source Life Design,” to solutions being modeled by pioneering communities throughout the world to promote a greater understanding of life design with the goal of thriving on one planet’s worth of resources.
See you tomorrow!
We are beginning our monthly Waldorf Wednesday lecture and film series tomorrow with a screening of the film Considering Waldorf. This is the first true documentary ever filmed about Waldorf education. It is significant as Waldorf education approaches its 100th anniversary, and its schools and methodologies are more widely known and practiced than ever. Waldorf methods are practiced not only in the independent schools in which they originated, but also in public school and home school settings. This film examines its successes and its achievements, but also look squarely at the controversies that swirl around Waldorf schools.
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow night, please consider bringing a friend who is curious about Waldorf Education!
