Why Waldorf in the early years?
Waldorf education for the younger child allows us to build a repeating rhythm marked by simple rituals which brings a child a wonderful sense of security.
Little Seedlings is a parent-child playgroup for children ages 1.5 to 3.5, designed to support the earliest years of childhood in a calm, nurturing environment.
Together, children and their caregivers gather in a peaceful, home-like setting where play, movement, and rhythm guide the experience. Each session is intentionally simple, allowing young children to explore at their own pace while caregivers observe, connect, and learn.
This is a space to slow down — and to be fully present with your child.
Meets weekly: Wednesday or Friday from 9-11.
Each playgroup follows a gentle rhythm designed to help children feel secure, engaged, and at ease.

Waldorf focuses on the social-emotional skills and proper neurological development that is the foundation for the child’s sense of well-being, emotional and mental health, and fulfillment in life.
While they are in the Early Childhood program, children foster healthy connections with themselves, their peers, and the planet. In this way, Waldorf Early Childhood holistically lays a strong foundation for the child to enter the more rigorous journey of formal academics in grade school.

For ages 3 – 12, we’ve got lots of screen-free fun planned for the summertime.
